In its preamble are presented the stages of the process of PUBLIC DECISION RATIONALIST MODEL but also barriers and criticisms of this MODEL . The core of the paper is represented by the PUBLIC DECISION through the theory of rational choice, here being presented in addition to theoretical concepts, also some practical examples. Keywords: Decisional process, PUBLIC DECISION , RATIONALIST MODEL , rational choice theory.
