Rehabilitation protocol : Subacromial Decompression +/- distal Clavicle Excision RANGE OF IMMOBILIZER THERAPEUTIC. MOTION* EXERCISE. PHASE I Progress from Passive 0-2 weeks: Elbow/wrist/hand 0 - 4 weeks to Active ROM as Worn at all times ROM, grip strength. tolerated. except for hygiene and Goals: therapeutic exercise. Pendulums. FF= 140 degs ER= 40 degs at side 2-4 weeks: No resisted exercises. IR= Behind back Worn for comfort only. NO abduction or 90/90. ER until > 4wks. PHASE II Increase A/AAROM as None. Begin light isometrics 4 - 8 weeks tolerated. for rotator cuff , peri- Goals: scapular muscles and FF= 160 degs deltoid with arm at ER= 60 degs at side side.
