By tracking the increasing or decreasing probability that a particular scenario will become reality, leaders can evaluate the possible consequences of their decisions. The global Scenarios for 2025 developed by Shell International Limited, the National Intelligence Council, and the World Economic Forum identify possible futures for global trends. This can help leaders make Strategic decisions now as well as providing information for developing individual company Scenarios . Three possible Scenarios for a fictional company are provided.
