COMMUNITY INFORMATION BULLETIN SECONDARY ASSESSMENT and EVALUATION for Quadmester Two NEW: Change of Learning Mode for Semester Two January 25, 2022 Dear Families, SECONDARY ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION FOR QUADMESTER TWO: In recognition of the challenges imposed by conducting examinations in pandemic conditions, dufferin - peel catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) courses have relied on Culminating Performance Tasks, or CPTs to determine the 30% final ASSESSMENT for student marks. The purpose of the final ASSESSMENT is to have the student provide evidence that they have mastered the course content. It is an opportunity provided near the end of the course for a student to demonstrate their consolidation of learning and should allow them to earn the best grade possible in their course. By the end of a course, students have had the opportunity to review materials, ask questions and improve their understanding of materials.
