SUMMARY: A. Provide through- penetration firestop systems to maintain an effective barrier against the spread of flame, smoke, hot gases and water through openings made in fire -rated walls or floors to accommodate ELECTRICAL through-penetrating items such as conduit, busway, cables and cable tray. Firestop shall provide necessary fire (F) and Temperature (T) ratings. Firestop shall be waterproof and cold-smokeproof.
