Statutes Annotated, 18 Pa.C.S.A. 9101 et. seq., the Criminal History Record Information Act ("Act"), was adopted in January of 1980. The Act applies to any person or agency of the Commonwealth, or its political subdivisions, which collects, maintains, disseminates or receives criminal history record information.
