The expert team was composed of Dr. Carlos M. Calcopietro and Mr. Massawe D. The views presented in this report are exclusive responsibility of the consultants. Senior Tanzanian Government officials, SME promotional institutions, donors, and private sector representatives with whom the consultants met in Dar es Salaam furnished most of the information contained in the report. The exercise has been circumscribed by the availability of data and the limited time to meet all relevant parties involved in SME promotion.
