Compulsory Specification for The manufacture , production , processing and treatment of canned meat products Published by Government Notice R. 791 (Government Gazette 26531) of 9 July 2004 ICS ; VC 8019 Ed. 3 STAATSKOERANT, 9 JULIE 2004 No. 26531 3 DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY No. R. 991 9 July 2004 STANDARDS ACT, 1993 WITHDRAWAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE COMPULSORY SPECIFICATION FOR THE manufacture , production , processing AND treatment OF CANNED meat products I, Mandisi Mpahlwa, Minister of Trade and Industry, hereby under Section 22(l)(a)(i) of the Standards Act, 1993 (Act No. 29 of 1993), and on the recommendation of the Council of the South African Bureau of Standards, withdraw the compulsory specification for the manufacture , production , processing and treatment of Canned meat products derived therefrom and replace it with the compulsory specification as set out in the Schedule, with effect from the date 2 months after the date of publication of this notice.
