TVET INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION technology MANAGER Administration Centre, East London Salary Level 10 (Salary range R417 R491 plus benefits) REF: ADMIN0218 (1) (PERSAL appointment) REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or NCV Level 4; M+3 Diploma or Degree in INFORMATION and COMMUNICATION technology (ICT) or a relevant qualification; At least 5 to 10 years experience in an enterprise IT environment, of which 4 years should be at management level; Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Linux client and server environment, ideally with relevant qualifications; Extensive knowledge of 1st and 2nd level support (ticket system, desktop support, long term support); Knowledge in groupware implementation and administration (Management INFORMATION System/Intranet); A valid driver s licence is essential; ITS Experience will be an added advantage. KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS: Develop, review and implement ICT strategy; Ensure implementation of ICT Governance; Develop, review ICT Policies and procedures which support organisational strategy; Oversee the smooth running of all ICT systems and infrastructure; Stakeholder and human resources management within the ICT department; Design, implement and monitor the ICT risk management plan; Implement the Disaster Recovery Strategies; Manage day to day operations of the ICT function; Operate computer hardware infrastructure; Manage and ensure ICT security; Maintain records and statistics; Planning
