There is also some comparative analysis of furnace bottom ash production and usage in recent years. The operational coal fired power stations are: Aberthaw Cottam Drax Eggborough Ferrybridge Fiddlers Ferry Longannet Ratcliffe on Soar Rugeley West Burton 4 Context fly ash and furnace bottom ash can be used effectively as alternatives to virgin raw materials in the manufacture of low-carbon, high performance concrete, cement and other construction materials.
