Watership down Designed by Janine le Cras for The Unique Sheep Based on the famous book of the same name, this shawl evokes the feeling of the British countryside. Rabbits scamper down the spine bobbing their little tails and the wings of the Faroese shaped shawl contain references to the flora and fauna so beautifully described in the book. The shawl is worked in one piece top down from the neck, starting with a garter st tab construction, with not one but two knitted on borders. Materials: 1 shawl set of Unique Sheep lace weight yarn (aprox 1200yd). Size (US #3) circular needle 36 inch or size required to get gauge Removable stitch markers Tapestry needle for sewing in ends With a US#3 ( ) circular needle cast on 3 sts and work 62 rows of garter st.
