A few basic rules are worth memorizing for your own Safety . Scaffold Rules: 1. Scaffolds must be provided where work cannot be safely done from the ground, a permanent structure, or appropriate ladders. 2. Erection, dismantling, and alteration of scaffolds must only be done by competent persons. 3. The Scaffold should be capable of supporting its own weight and at least four times the maximum intended load to be applied or transmitted to the Scaffold and components.
