AMPL Reference Manual AMPL is a language for algebraic modeling and mathematical programming: a computer-readable language for expressing optimization problems such as linear programming in algebraic notation. This appendix summarizes the features ofAMPL, with particular emphasis on technical details not fully covered in the preceding chapters.
