CHAPTER 1: ENGINEERING FUNDAMENTALS
Engineering is all about communicating ideas to others, and these are three principle methods by which ideas are communicated. A graph, drawing, or sketch must effectively communicate information to a different party unrelated to the work. See Table 1.1 for a summary of similarities and differences in these three visual communication methods.
