Petroleum Reserves Estimation Methods
When calculating reserves using any of the above methods, two calculation procedures may be used: deterministic and/or probabilistic. The deterministic method is by far the most common. The procedure is to select a single value for each parameter to input into an appropriate equation, to obtain a single answer.

Review Calculating the pH during a titration involves
www.calstatela.eduCalculating the pH during a titration involves: 1. Identify the stoichiometric (non-equilibrium, one-way) reaction that takes place, and calculate the quantities of reactants that are consumed and of products that are made. 2. Identify the equilibrium reaction, if any, that takes place, and calculate the quantity of H+

Manual: Theory and Practice of pH Measurement
www.emerson.comAlthough equation 2 is often given as the definition of pH, it is not a good one. No one determines pH by first meas-uring the hydrogen ion concentration and then calculating pH. pH is best defined by describing how it is measured. Calculating Geometric Means - California
www.waterboards.ca.govThe first step in calculating the Geometric Mean using this method is to determine the logarithm of each data point using your calculator. Next, add all of the data point logarithms together and divide this sum by the number of data points (n). In other words, take the average of the logs. Next, convert this log average back to a base 10
