THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM
Muscle fibers are organized into bundles supplied by blood vessels and innervated by motor neurons. Muscle structure. Skeletal (striated or voluntary) muscle consists of densely packed groups of hugely elongated cells known as myofibers. These are grouped into bundles (fascicles).
