Recall a kernel is any function of the form: K(x;x0) = h (x); (x0)i where is a function that projections vectors x into a new vector space. The kernel function computes the inner-product between two projected vectors. As we prove below, the function for an RBF kernel projects vectors into an infinite di-mensional space.
