Verb Forms and Tenses
Present perfect The present perfect tense is used to express an action that took place at some unspecified time in the past. The present perfect tense can also be used to express an action that began in the past and continues in the present. The present perfect tense is formed with the past tense of the verb and the helping verbs has or have.
