AASHTO Standards AASHTO Materials Standards consist of a single letter indicating the standard type and a one- to three-digit number uniquely identifying the standard. This is followed by second number indicating the date of most recent revision and, if applicable, review. These dates change frequently and are not shown in this list. Standard Types Standard types are represented by a one-letter abbreviation for full Standards . The letter P is added for provisional Standards , which are listed separately for Part 3.
