Articulation agreements and course equivalency guides identify the courses that are transferable from a two-year college to SNHU. Students who complete an associate degree (or equivalent) in a program covered by an articulation agreement shall have all passing courses accepted for transfer credit, as specified in the articulation agreement. Within these semesters, SNHU offers a number of accelerated courses in several different terms. The unit of credit at Southern New Hampshire University is the semester hour. COURSE LEVELS: Courses numbered 001 499 are offered at the undergraduate level, with lower division numbers in the 100 and 200 levels normally taken in the freshman and sophomore years.
7 Upper division courses in the 300 and 400 levels are normally taken by juniors and seniors. Graduate level courses are numbered from 500 799. Doctoral courses are numbered at the 800 plus level. 500-Level Courses: Students who have completed at least 90 undergraduate credits and have a or higher GPA must apply through the Advising Center to enroll in a 500-level graduate course. If the student goes on to enroll in a graduate program at SNHU, graduate credit will be granted if the student earns grades of B or better in the 500-level courses. These courses will be indicated on the graduate transcript as a three-credit course with a grade of WV and will not be calculated into the cumulative GPA. Approval is limited to a maximum of six credits (two three-credit graduate courses).
