4 Unusual Fire or Explosion Hazards: Do not rely on ambient air for breathing air supply during fires. Fire may result in release of toxic gases such as oxides of carbons, nitrogen and sulfur. Inhalation: Vapors may be irritating to nose, throat, and respiratory tract, producing symptoms of nausea in poorly ventilated areas. Eye Contact: Exposure is possibly irritating to the eyes. Chronic Exposure Effects: Target Organ Effect: Product contains < 1% Ethylene thiourea, which has been determined to be a teratogen and oncogen in laboratory animals.

Killem Biocide Material Safety Data Sheet Page 3 First Aid: Ingestion: If patient is fully conscious, dilute by drinking copious amounts of water. Obtain immediate medical attention. Never give anything by mouth if patient is unconscious or drowsy. Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
7 Obtain medical attention. Inhalation: Remove affected individual to fresh air and seek medical attention. If breathing is labored, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, administer artificial respiration. Eye Contact: Flush eyes with plenty of running water for at least 20 minutes while holding eyelids apart. Obtain medical attention. Handling and Storage: Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling, and particularly before eating, drinking, or smoking.
8 Do not transfer to unmarked containers. Wear appropriate protective clothing when handling. NOTICE: Containers of this material may be hazardous when emptied. Since emptied containers retain product residues (vapor, liquid, and/or solid), all hazard precautions given in this data sheet must be observed. Accidental Release, Spill or Leak Procedures: Spill Procedures: Evacuate all non-essential personnel. Personal Protective Equipment appropriate to the nature of the spill must be worn. Ventilate spill area.
9 Stop spill at source. Prevent entry into sewers and waterways. Collect free liquid for disposal. Residual liquid may be absorbed using inert material. Transfer contaminated absorbent, soil, etc. into containers for disposal. The floor may be slippery. Use caution to avoid falls. Material is detrimental to the environment. Spills may be reportable under CERCLA, SARA, or DOT criteria, depending on quantities involved. Disposal Methods: Hazardous waste: Dispose of liquid or solid materials in conformance with all applicable Federal, State or Local regulations.

If airborne exposure limit for any component is exceeded, wear self-contained breathing apparatus (Pressure Demand, NIOSH/MSHA-approved or equivalent).
