Each zone is a “Series loop” with any number of Slant/Fin base-board units and controlled by its own room thermostat. In the zone valve arrangement, each zone has an electrically operated zone valve and there is a single pump for the whole system. In the zone pump arrangement, each zone is provided with a pump, a flow control valve and a relay.
