1527 OMEGA SERIES SpecificationS

1 GENERAL 1527 omega R and f SERIES are full cut-off decorative down-light fixtures having a spun aluminum bell styled shade thatis available in flared or round edge. attached to the upperportion of the spun aluminum bell shade is an aluminum cast-ing which acts as a means of coupling the fixture to an assort-ment of arms. all fixtures have sealed and rotatable opticsand are available with flat, sag, clear or frosted HOUSING the ballast is housed in the upper section of the spun alu-minum shade and is easily accessible by means of one tool-less entry door.

2 The ballast tray can be detached from thefixture after removal of two pan head screws unclipping twosets of electrical quick disconnect the fixture shall be listed. ballasts shallbe high power factor with lamp starting down to -30 degreesc. Medium and Mogul porcelain sockets are 4KV ballast tray assembly is connected to the lamp socket and line supply via quick disconnect connectors for ease ofreplacement. cfL option shall be supplied witha 4-pinsocket to accept quad or triple tube lamps. the QL inductionSystem option provides 5-10 times the lifeofHiD lamps andprovides instant on-instant restrike.

3 Ballasts shall be DoeeiSa ASSEMBLY the 1527 fixtures shall be made of spun aluminum and having an outside diameter of 27 x 19 in height (19 on f). tool-less entry allows easy access to lamp and ballast. a spring type latchallows access to lamp compartment, and ballast tray. two decorative shades are available, eitherround (R) or flared (f). an optional hangstraight (HS) is available to ensure a plumb fixtureinstallation even with unlevel luminaire shall be standardly supplied with a clear tempered flat glass (cfG) lens or withoptional clear sag glass (cSG), frosted tempered flat glass (ffG), or frosted sag glass (fSG).
