The Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha for students studying in Class-IX is meant to identify the nurture talent. The examination is conducted every year at State Level. Date of Examination : Directorate of Education will conduct Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha on 19 December, 2021 ( Sunday). Eligibility : (i) The students presently studying in Class IX in Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. Schools including the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, School of MCD, NDMC, DCB, etc.

2 In GNCT of Delhi. (ii) Must have secured 60% marks in Class VIII in the session 2020-2021, 5% relaxation in marks for the students belonging to SC/ST and PH category. Reservation :- 15% of the students belonging to the SC Category, for students belonging to the ST category and 27% for students belonging to OBC category (Non-creamy layer) as per Government of NCT Delhi Revenue Department, 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs). those who have not covered under the reservation scheme for SCs/STs/OBCs, 4%(with in category). for children with benchmark disabilities, of which, one percent each shall be reserved for persons with bench mark Disabilities under clauses (a), (b) and (c ) and one per cent for persons with benchmark disabilities under clauses (d) and (e) namely :- (a) Blindness and low vision ; (BLV).

3 (b) Deaf and hard of hearing ; (DH). (c) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy ; (LD). (d) Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness ; (AID). (e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness in the posts identified for each disabilities (MD). Examination Pattern : The pattern of written examination will be as follows : Paper Test No. of No. of Duration (in Questions Marks minutes). Paper-I Mental Ability Test (MAT) 100 100 120. Paper-II Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) 100 100 120.

4 There will be no negative marking in examination. Examination Syllabus for Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha Paper-I Scholastic Aptitude Test CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, MATHEMATICS, (SAT) PHYSICS, CIVICS, HISTORY, ECONOMICS, GEOGRAPHY. Paper-II Mental Ability Test VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL REASONING. (MAT) QUANITATIVE APTITUDE + DATA. INTERPRETATION. Selection : (i) Qualifying Marks : Qualifying Marks for candidates from SC/ST/PH category is 32% in each paper and for others (General/OBC & EWS) categories it is 40% in each paper (ii) Selected students on merit basis as per quota will be recommended for scholarship. How to Apply : (i) The School HOS will register the students on Directorate of Education website with their own school login ID and Password School Plant.

5 Scholarship School information entry form Application form. (ii) School can register their eligible enrolled students from 01 November, 2021 to 15. November 2021. (iii) Directorate of Education, Science Branch will generate Roll Numbers of the candidates and Allot Centre of Examination by 22 November, 2021. (iv) Schools will take print out of the admit card duly attested by HOS and issue 2(Tow) copy to the students upto 18 December, 2021. Note:- Head of Schools are directed, that the candidates who claim to be under EWS (Economic weaker section) category must provide only EWS. (Economic weaker section) certificate not Income certificate.

6 As sample (Attached). If, EWS certificate not provided by the candidate then he/she will be treated as General candidate. COVID GUIDELINES. a) Parents will submit an undertaking with regard to permitting his/her ward to appear in the examination. b) All the candidates will wear the mask and maintain social distancing and follow other COVID guidelines prescribed as per Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India at the examination centre. c) Safety norms with regard to checking of temperature and sanitization is to be strictly followed by the all concerned. d) Any other guidelines issued by the Competent Authority from time to time.

Note 3: The Property held by a "Family" in different location pave/cities have been clubbed while applying the land or property holding test to determine EWS status.
