ASCA Business Office 6091 E State Hwy 21, Bryan, TX 77808-9652 (979) 778-1082 Finals Information Invitations for Stockdog, Obedience, Agility, Rally, Conformation and Juniors Finals The ASCA Business Office will contact qualifying participants with invitations, fees and directions for entering Finals. Send entries and fees directly to the ASCA Business Office by the stated deadline EXCEPT entries for Junior Handling Finals.
8 Send Junior Finals entries to the 2018 Nationals Entry Clerk, Terri Morgan, Box 992, Kiowa, Colorado 80117. NO AWARDS OR ROSETTES WILL BE MAILED. Agility Finals Please read the Finals section, Chapter 12, of the ASCA Agility Rule Book. A reception will be held at the completion of the Finals competition. At the completion of the Agility Finals, after all scores have been tallied, the ASCA Agility Finals Awards will be presented under the South Pavilion (Agility location) on Monday, September 24. Conformation Finals Please read the Finals section, Chapter 15, of the Conformation Rule Book. Conformation Finals will take place in the Event Center. There will be a reception featuring refreshments and finger food for Junior Handling, Altered and Intact Conformation Finals participants in the Event Center during the lunch break on Tuesday, September 25. The presentation of the Top Ten Awards for Altered and Intact will follow the conclusion of the Intact Finals competition.
9 Junior Handling Finals Please read the Finals section, Chapter , of the Junior Handling Rule Book. Use a separate entry form for your Finals entry and mail it to the 2018 Nationals Entry Clerk, Terri Morgan. A change of dogs must be made at least one hour prior to the judging of the class and be approved by a Junior Handling Chairman, Libby Stibley and at least one other Show Committee member or ASCA official. The Keely Bryan Memorial Scholarship is given for Finals Best Junior and Finals Reserve Junior. Awards will be presented in the ring at the completion of each class. Junior Finals awards and the 500 Club Parade will take place immediately upon the completion of Junior Finals competition in the Event Center. Obedience Finals Please read the Finals section, Chapter 13, of the Obedience Rule Book. The Obedience Finals will take place in the Exhibition Building on mats. Bitches in season are allowed to compete; see Section An awards reception for Finalists will be held in the Exhibition Building on Tuesday, September 25 upon the completion of the Finals competition, after scores have been tallied.
10 Rally Finals Please read Chapter 13 of the Rally Rule Book. The Rally Finals will take place in the Exhibition Building on mats. Bitches in season are allowed to compete; see Section An awards reception for Finalists will be held in the Exhibition Building on Sunday, September 23 upon the completion of the Finals competition, after scores have been tallied. Stockdog Finals Please read Chapter 24 of the Stockdog Rule Book. The random draw for run order of the elimination go-round will be done by the Business Office after entries close. If there is a day-of scratch and an alternate is used to replace the scratch, the alternate will have the same draw for run order as the dog being replaced. Final go-round run order will be random draw assigned to the placing rank of the elimination go-round total scores. Five to 10 head of livestock will be used for each run. Sheep will be wool or hair; cattle will be beef crosses; ducks will be mixed. Cattle runs will be held in the Main Arena, sheep runs will be held in the Saddle Club Arena, and duck runs will held in the Warm Up Arena on the east side of the Main Arena.
