By:AACreighton BILL TO BE ENTITLEDAN ACTrelating to the liability of employees of certain real propertyowners for certain claims arising from construction IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF (3), Civil Practice and RemediesCode, is amended to read as follows:(3)AA"Property owner" means a person or entity thatowns real property primarily used for commercial or term includes an employee of a person or entitydescribed by this change in law made by this Act applies onlyto a cause of action that accrues on or after the effective date ofthis Act. A cause of action that accrued before the effective dateof this Act is governed by the law applicable to the cause of actionimmediately before the effective date of this Act, and that law iscontinued in effect for that Act takes effect September 1.
