3 (a)In thissection,"confidentialidentity"means: (1)AAthe use of a pseudonym;and(2)AAthe absenceof any otheridentifyinginformation,includingadd ress,telephonenumber,and socialsecuritynumber.(b)AAExceptas otherwiseprovidedby thissection,in anactionunderthischapter,the courtshall:(1)AAmakeit knownto the claimantas earlyas possiblein theproceedingsof theactionthattheclaimantmayuseaconfident ialidentityin relationto the action; (2)AAallowa claimantto use a confidentialidentityinall petitions,filings,and otherdocumentspresentedto the court;(3)AAuse the confidentialidentityin all of the court sproceedingsandrecordsrelatingto theaction,includinganyappellateproceedin gs;and(4)AAmaintaintherecordsrelatingto theactionin amannerthatprotectsthe confidentialityof the claimant.
