2 A long life, high reliability,potted SPST magnetic reed Switch rated for not less than 100VA at up to 250 Volts shall be mounted inside the Float andconnected to a multi-stranded, 2 conductor plus ground, 16gauge, CPE jacketed cable. The cord shall have fine strandconductors (not more than 34 gauge) made especially forheavy flexing service. The cable connection point shall bepotted in epoxy providing a strong bond to the Float andreed Switch forming a water/moisture tight connection. Aflexible Neoprene sleeve, not less than 1/8" ( mm) thick,shall be provided over the CPE jacketed cable extending notless than 5" ( cm) from the top of the mounting bracketextending down through the cable mounting bracket hingepoint to the top of the Float Switch body, providing cablestress point relief and extended operational 316 stainless steel flanged cable mounting clampassembly shall be supplied allowing pipe or cable mountingas specified below.
