1 University Information Technology Services Learning Technologies, Training, Audiovisual, and Outreach Revised 3/8/2018 Page 1 of 4 Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for Windows - Quick Start Guide Adobe Acrobat Pro DC provides a simplified, more task-oriented based interface than prior versions of Acrobat , with easy access to the tools you use most for PDF creation. The Interface Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has the following three views: 1. Home - The landing page when you first open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for (See Figure 1). 2. Tools - Provides access to all of the tools available for working on your document (See Figure 1). 3.
2 Document - The default view whenever a document is opened. Each additional document opened resides in a separate tab (See Figure 1). Figure 1 - The Interface Page 2 of 4 Home Tab This is the landing page when you first open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for document management. 1. Home - You have the following options when on this tab (See Figure 2): a. File Lists - View your recently opened files, files sent using Adobe Send & Track. (See Figure 2). b. Storage - Access your files locally or those located in other places (See Figure 2). c. Welcome - A welcome message that has a See what s new in Acrobat button for a Quick introduction document (See Figure 2).

Figure 2 - Home Tab Page 3 of 4 Tools Tab This tab provides access to all of the tools available for working on your document. 1. Tools - You have the following options when on this tab (See Figure 3): a. Search Tools - Search for a specific tool using a keyword (See Figure 3). b. Tool Categories - All the tools are listed by category. When a tool is selected, a tool-specific command or a toolbar appears in the Document tab if a file is open (See Figure 3). c. Shortcuts - Add your tool to the shortcut pane for Quick access (See Figure 3).
