3 Sample ID Cards The most important step for benefit verification is to check the H&PBP numbers on the bottom right of the ID card. Aetna is the brand name used for products and services provided by one or more of the Aetna group of subsidiary companies, including Aetna Life Insurance Company, Coventry Health and Life Insurance Company and their affiliates ( Aetna ). Aetna Medicare is a PDP, HMO, PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Our SNPs also have contracts with State Medicaid programs. Enrollment in our plans depends on contract renewal.
