2 However, compared to Portland cement, there is much less experience of the performance of these materials during construction and in the longer term. For this reason, the Publicly Available Specification PAS 8820, published in May, adopts performance testing, rather than prescribing composition or proportions. Please contact for details. The PAS is intended for use by construction material suppliers, designers and specifiers to enable AACMs to be developed and the most appropriate AACMs to be utilised for different applications. The meeting will discuss the various aspects of AACM and will be of interest to consultants, designers, specifiers, materials suppliers and researchers.
