Amazon Suspension Appeal Letter Examples Appeal Letter from 2015 Ryan s notes: This was my Appeal that I used to get my account reinstated in 2015. I would update it a bit with guidelines as outlined in the blog post you downloaded it from. But this is an example of a successful Appeal . Hello, I am writing to Appeal the Suspension of my seller account. I understand that I have made a few mistakes in my business that have hurt the customers of Amazon . To begin, I understand that the primary issue for the Suspension of my selling privileges was due to issues with item conditions and descriptions. My goal is to provide a completely accurate condition and description for all listings.
It appears the process in place prior to the Suspension was not completely effective. I take complete responsibility for this happening, and apologize for the harm that has been done to the Amazon brand through the poor experiences these customers had. I highly value the privilege of being a seller on Amazon , and am 100% committed to ensuring that every single Amazon customer that purchases items from my storefront receives the best possible experience in accordance with their expectations. From going through past notifications in my account, as well as the Suspension notice , I see that there have been issues with the following ASINs: B0038 ALXZ0, B0070 SZM62, B008 IXACO0, B000A2BJ44, B00QH4M3HQ, B00 FARK5BM, B0051V50HQ, B001GF5F9E, B00CM6ZN8O, and B000N043DW.
First, I would like to address these three ASINs: B00 FARK5BM, B001GF5F9E, and B0051V50HQ. After review, I see that they all came from the same supplier, and I have subsequently ceased to purchase any additional inventory from this supplier across any products going forward due to the issues. My policy of no longer purchasing from this supplier began on May 1, 2015 after the notice from Amazon was received on this ASIN: B001GF5F9E. The policy of not purchasing from this supplier will continue in perpetuity. The other ASINs where issues have been identified are due to improper quality inspection of items and listings prior to items being shipped to Amazon fulfillment warehouses.
I have implemented several new processes to ensure that such issues do not occur again, and have reconciled several issues outlined in the Suspension notice . Below are my action plan steps to ensure that future issues are mitigated: Action Steps Taken: 1. I have deleted all of the above ASINs with issues from my inventory to ensure they are not sold again. In addition, I have recalled all of the INSERT SUPPLIER NAME that I have at FBA warehouses to ensure that the quality is fully in line with Amazon guidelines. 2. I have ceased sourcing inventory from the supplier with known issues on 5/1/2015, as discussed previously. 3. I resolved the issue on ASIN: B00M9 DDUXU on 6/24/2015 by providing requested documentation.
Action Plan: 1. Implement a 3-Point Inspection Policy prior to shipment to Amazon on every item listed to verify that it is fit for sale in accordance with Amazon guidelines. I have attached a copy of this internal policy to the Appeal . Any individual assisting me with the preparation of items will receive extensive training on the 3-Point Inspection Policy and its procedures. If any part of the 3-Point Inspection does not pass, the item will not be sold on Amazon . This policy will cover the following: a. Inspect every aspect of product packaging to ensure item condition meets Amazon guidelines. b. Compare every item to existing Amazon listings to ensure it is an exact match to the pictures and descriptions.
C. Inspect to ensure factory seal is in place on all items in new condition. 2. Implement Supplier Review Policy. Before working with suppliers, I will test any potential items I am considering carrying in my storefront to ensure that they will pass the 3-Point Inspection Policy outlined in #1 above. This will ensure that all products received from suppliers will meet the conditions required by Amazon guidelines. 3. Implement Product Review Policy. In the event that a negative feedback or a customer complaint is received on an item sold, a removal order will be placed immediately for all stock of this ASIN. After the item is returned to my location, I will conduct an in-depth inspection into the item to ensure it meets the requirements of the 3 point inspection, and is 100% verified to be in accordance with the condition guidelines for the Amazon Marketplace.
If the item is verified to be in the condition listed, only then will it be sent back to FBA warehouses. If any of the conditions are not met, the item will not be sold on Amazon . This review will also be triggered if either of the following occur: a. A performance notification is received from Amazon . b. In the event an item is returned, and marked as not as described or wrong item. These action steps will help me provide Amazon customers with the best possible service. As a seller since 2013, with a 99% positive feedback rating, and over 31,000 products sold in the past 2 years, I am committed to make this right. If granted reinstatement, I will serve the customers of Amazon to the highest possible standard as outlined in this Appeal .
