1 Andrea C. Knowles Broward Legislative Delegation executive Director Andrea C. Knowles is a lifelong Broward county , FL resident. Ms. Knowles is the executive Director of the Broward Legislative Delegation which works as a communication resource between the Federal, State, local governments and Broward county citizens to facilitate the Legislative process. This office maintains the local bill process and monitors bills and appropriations approved by the Delegation Members through the Legislature. Ms. Knowles has an extensive background in the state Legislative matters and has served as a Legislative Assistant in the Florida House of Representatives. Deeply rooted in the South Florida community, Ms. Knowles is a Proud Owl having graduated Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Social Work and is a graduate of Deerfield Beach High School.
2 She is also an active member of her church, Emmanuel Christian Center Ministries and her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She serves as a Board Member of Victory Living Programs which helps persons with developmental challenges learn to live independently and she is a member of the United Way of Broward county Public Policy Advisory Committee. Andrea is the proud second born daughter of Dr. & Mrs. Nathaniel and Linda Knowles . Her father serves as Senior Chaplain of the Broward Sheriff s Office.
