APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION into "THE miniature donkey registry " REGISTRATION RULES (please read carefully and completely) INSPECTION: Jacks and Jennets which are not out of registered parents MUST be inspected. This can be done by a veterinarian or an ADMS Inspector. Official inspection sheets and list of inspectors available from the office. Geldings do not need to be inspected. If parents are registered no inspection is necessary. However, ANIMALS SHOWING EXTREMEM Disproportional CHARACTERICS MAY BE REFUSED. Consultations will be done on these cases.

7 1. HEIGHT. miniature donkeys are defined as members of the breed by height. The miniature donkey must be 36" or under when mature. Animals over age 3 must be accurately measured and height given on the form. (The owner is responsible for this, it does not have to be done by an inspector.) Measure accurately from ground to highest point of the withers. We will not list increments of less than 1/8th inch. 2. PHYSICAL IDENTIFICATION. Some form of permanent physical identification is strongly recommended by this registry . Lip or ear tattoos, brands, ear tags, electronic identification (microchips) may be used. Put any tattoos etc. under "description" on registry APPLICATION . 3. TRANSFERS of ownership are accomplished by means of a form available from the registry .

8 Follow directions on form. Original Certificate must accompany any transfer papers. $ Transfer fee for Immature, $ for mature animals. This form is not for transfer only of registered animals. 4. TO REGISTER A donkey , THE OWNER MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN donkey AND MULE SOCIETY. This fee is $23 for the current year (US members, $30 Canada/$35 overseas) and you will receive THE BRAYER MAGAZINE and our other services. 5 Fill out this APPLICATION as completely as possible. If the animal s parents are not registered, give as much info about them as possible. If Unknown state UNKNOWN. We will not accept an actual birthdate for animals where the breeder and dam are both unknown. If a birthdate is given, we require at least a name/color and owner for the dam (mother) to be shown on the APPLICATION .

PHOTOS & IDENTIFICATION ON THE REGISTRATION APPLICATION . Please fill out the portion which asks for description by describing any markings which do not appear in the photos, such as "collar buttons", stars on forehead, garters (leg stripes) or other markings which may be useful for ID purposes . ONE PHOTO OF EACH SIDE IS REQUIRED (2 total photos).

If the breeder wishes the animal to be named My Farm Bubba and not His Ranch Buddy, the BREEDER must be the first person to be listed as owner. If you send only this APPLICATION with an animal at the time of sale, the new owner (or whomever after that sends the APPLICATION in to ADMS) may use their own prefix on the APPLICATION and does NOT have to use yours. See instructions on the front at the bottom edge of this form. If you are the BREEDER and want the animal to show YOU as the BREEDER and FIRST OWNER, then sold to another person, fill out both as BREEDER and OWNER and include a transfer form. Include $20. Otherwise, we will list you are BREEDER and register the animal directly to the new person ($15).
