2 Booth Muirie haspositioned itself as a highly respected specialistcompany within the construction Muirie uses a range of metal compositematerials (MCM), predominantly aluminiumcomposite materials (ACM), to manufacturerainscreen CLADDING SYSTEMS . MCMs consist of two thin skins of aluminium or other metals such as copper, zinc and stainless steel, continuouslybonded under tension to either side of athermoplastic or mineral core. Booth Muirie rainscreen constructions are referred to as BML SYSTEMS , with the differentconstructions recognised by a standard prefix ofBML (Booth Muirie LINEAR), followed by a specificreference, which identifies the system construction,such as is a CLADDING applied either duringprimary construction or as an over- CLADDING toan existing structure.

3 Rainscreen claddingconsists of an outer weather-resistantdecorative skin fixed to an underlying structureby means of a supporting grid, which maintainsa ventilated and drained cavity between thefa ade and the structure.
