Roller Operator - Experience operating a steel drum Roller or rubber-tired Roller on an Asphalt paving operation. Job Description and explanation of duties: 1. The job requirements are to distribute, break down, compress and give a finished surface to cooling Asphalt .

2 2. Drives machine in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling subgrade and Asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness. 3. Determines speed and direction of machine based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures. 4. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. 5. Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices 6. Working environment includes being exposed to hot Asphalt and sun and extreme weather temperatures.

3 7. Knowledge of Asphalt and aggregate characteristics. 8. Ability to lift 70lbs multiple times. 9. Maintain work areas in clean and safe manner. 10. Maintain a good attendance and punctuality record. 11. Perform other duties as assigned. 12. Ability to work 50 70 hours a week including weekends. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assure customer satisfaction 2. Represent Vance Brothers with integrity and professionalism. 3. Ability to perform manual labor. 4. Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.

4 5. Work overtime as required. 6. Position requires that you be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. 7. Organized and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 8. Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times. 9. Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time. 10. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Compensation & Benefits: $ an hour OT after 8 hrs.
