Five years of service in the Marine Safety & Environmental Protection missions a. 96 hours per calendar year as recorded in AUXDATA Codes 28, 70, and 80) b. Years do not need to be consecutive c. A conditional award may be recommended by the COTP if all requirements are met other than the 5 years of service. This is not automatic but may be given if the COTP feels the member has provided exceptional service to the Sector. If the member does not continue to work within the program, the COTP may recommend the conditional award be withdrawn.

The application and all documentation should be forwarded to the DSO-MS for review and forwarding to DIRAUX for award of the Device . b. AUXDATA does not track completion of requirements for this Device as not all previously authorized PQSs are listed in AUXDATA.
