Avaya Professional Credential Program life Cycle Purpose This document provides information on testing requirements for the Avaya Professional Credential Program and life Cycle data. Avaya Professional Credential Program The Avaya Professional Credential Program is designed to ensure individuals have the knowledge and skills to successfully sell, design, implement and maintain Avaya products and solutions that exceed customer expectations. The Avaya Professional Credential Program currently consists of Sales, Design, and Services credentials and distinguishes between Solution credentials and Product Specific credentials .

2 1. Earn and Renew credentials To earn an Avaya Professional Credential for the first time you need to meet the current Credential requirements. Avaya Professional credentials are issued with an expiration date. credentials are evaluated for automatic renewal based upon requirements in place six months prior to the Credential s expiration date. If a Credential is automatically renewed a Credential Renewal Notification is issued with a new expiration date. September 30, 2017 Page 2 of 7 2017 Avaya , Inc. All rights reserved. Credential expiration Alert! Notifications are sent to the student at 180/90/30/14 day intervals prior to expiration until the new requirements to renew are met or the Credential expires.

3 If your Credential will soon expire and is eligible for renewal, there are two possible scenarios: 1) The current Credential requirements have changed from when you last earned/renewed the Credential ; you must meet the current requirements [re-test] to renew the Credential . 2) You have already satisfied the current requirements when you last earned/renewed the Credential ; the Credential will be automatically renewed for you. If no action is taken by the student the Credential will expire and a final Credential Expiration notice is issued. Retired credentials cannot be renewed. 2. Avaya Professional Credential Portfolio Tables The Avaya Professional credentials are listed within each of the following product portfolio tables: Midmarket Team Engagement Enterprise Team Engagement Customer Engagement The Avaya Professional Credential tables contain sections for the current Sales and Design, Implementation and Support, and retired credentials by portfolio.

4 credentials listed in the top two sections of each table are currently available. credentials listed in the bottom section are retired credentials that can no longer be earned or renewed. Where applicable, a cross reference to a recommended available Credential is made. The Avaya Professional Certification Program transition to solution based services credentials represents a significant transformation in that fewer credentials and training hours are needed. As Avaya Engagement Solutions credentials become available individual product specific credentials associated with the solution will retire. Avaya Learning takes measurement to ensure participants have extended time for achieving the new solutions based certifications and experience minimal inconvenience during the transition by making available sufficient course offerings.

5 In addition Avaya Learning will ensure that credentials retiring as part of the new Program will be communicated early to protect training investments.
