1 GOVERNMENT OF INDIATHE DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY,MINISTRY OF SCIENCE&TECHNOLOGYANNOUNCES THE CALL FORLETTER OF INTENTUNDER BIOTECHNOLOGY CAREER advancement AND RE-ORIENTATIONPROGRAMME FOR WOMEN SCIENTISTS BioCAReTo enhance the participation of Women Scientists in BiotechnologyResearch, the Department of BiotechnologyinvitestheLetter of Intents(LOIs)under the BioCARe scheme for women scientists. Theprogramme is targettedtowardsCareer Development ofemployed/unemployed women scheme is open for all areasof Life Science /Biotechnology(including agriculture, veterinary science andmedicine). Age limit for application has been kept as 55 to ensure programme aims atproviding support forResearchproject grants towomen scientists (employed & unemployed)forwhom it is the firstextramural research grant(Women Scientists who have received anyearlier grantfrom any Government Funding Agencyas PrincipalInvestigatorare not eligible).
