6 BLESSED Lord, accept this burning candle as a sign of my faith and love for You. Like this candle, I am ready to be used in your service without asking why and to what purpose. Even as this candle, I wish to stand in Your presence and to be consumed in the light and warmth of our Love. Please hear my prayer and, if it is Your will, grant my petition. But above all, make me loyal and faithful to You in all circumstances of my life. Amen. ST. SYLVESTER Gary From: Joanne ST. 8 Lk 2:41-52 Our sympathy is extended to the families of: RITA MALLOY, AND JAMES RYAN Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Please remember members of our PARISH who are in nursing homes, the homebound, the sick and their caregivers in your prayers. May God s mercy shine on them. Readings for the Week of December 26, 2021 First Reading Hannah gives her son Samuel back to the L , leav-ing him in the temple at Shiloh: As long as he lives, he shall be dedicated to the L (1 Samuel 1:20-22, 24-28) or Sirach 3:2-6, 12-14. Psalm BLESSED are they who dwell in your house, O Lord (Psalm 84) or Psalm 128. Second Reading We are children of God when we believe in the name of God s Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another just as he commanded us (1 Jn 3:1-2, 21-24) or Colossians 3:12-21 [12-17].
9 Gospel Joseph and Mary find the lost Jesus in the temple in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking questions (Luke 2:41-52). Together we welcome: Josephine Helen Bruno Who was baptized into our Faith & Family. Congratulations to the Parents & Godparents! BLESSED TRINITY PARISH is a welcoming & all-inclusive family. Everyone is welcomed in our PARISH and to our celebrations. Expect warm welcomes, regardless of who you are, where you are from, or where you are following the Lord in life. We have multiple celebrations of Mass in multiple locations on both Saturday and Sunday. Please see the schedule of masses on the front of this bulletin, and come join us and bring a family member or friend as well! If you would like to join us for Mass, but can only arrive in the middle of our celebration, please do not feel embarrassed. We are happy to have others join us for Mass even if and when they enter in the middle of our celebration.
10 Everyone is welcome at every and any moment! You are never a bother to us and we understand that life happens! Cleanliness and Modesty are appreciated and respected, know that we thank you in advance for trying not to dress in ways that could distract others from our praise of the Lord and our celebration of the Church's sacraments. Please know, however, that having you join us as you are, is more important to us. Remember! God loves you for who you are, as you are, and so do we! BLESSED TRINITY PARISH Page Five OPLATKI CHRISTMAS WAFERS Oplatki Christmas wa-fers are now available at all of the churches and the PARISH Office for a $ donation. As Christmas day starts to edge ever closer and all of the decorat-ing of churches, PARISH ministries and celebrations are being taken care of I am determined to not let this beautiful season fly past me without taking a break to think of and remember why we do it all.
