CDS (College of Direct Support) - Connecticut

1 CDS ( college of Direct support ) is an online program that is available to all DDS employees. Our new employees are required to take many courses through the CDS. However, many DDS. employees are not aware of this training opportunity that is available to them. If you have a desire to be better at your job, then the CDS is the place for you. There are many topics that are informative and could help you to further your career with DDS. Some of these courses include: Autism, Brain Injury, Direct support Professionalism, Everyone Can Communicate, Cultural Competence, Supporting Healthy Lives, Community Inclusion, etc.

2 If you are a supervisor and believe that your staff may need additional training, you can contact the training department and we can tell you if there is a course related to your specific needs.
