CHAPTER Manipulating genes in organisms - wiley.com
KEY KNOWLEDGE This chapter is designed to enable students to: ˜ recognise the distinction between genetically modi˜ ed organisms (GMOs) and transgenic organisms ˜ give examples of transgenic plants and animals ˜ gain knowledge and understanding of how GMOs are applied in agriculture ˜ understand the techniques used to produce transgenic organisms ˜ consider some issues related to GMOs.
