1 Chargeable Seats on LH flights Chargeable Seats ON LH FLIGHTS Chargeable Seats can be sold on all LH operating flights (including wetlease flights operated by CL) in economy compartment where the Seats are marked as Chargeable and can be selected from the seat map. Only automated pricing can be performed and a document issued regardless of the fare rules of the ticket used for travel: at latest 48 hours before the flight If there is no document issued for a Chargeable seat according to this time limit rule, the Chargeable seat will be cancelled from the PNR and the PNR is queued back to the agent (LH is using the Amadeus AIL product to control the time limit rule). The following customers have free ASR (advance seat request) LH HON/SEN card holders and companions Passengers booked in booking classes Y/B/M/H/U/Q/V/G on Continental Europe flights Passengers with special needs, including, but not limited to UMNR, WCHC, MEDA, DEAF, BLND, CBBG, DPNA, ESAN, EXST, SVAN, WCHS, AOXY, POXY SEAT TYPES & PRICING The Seats are priced according to three different zones: Continental Europe (one seat type/price: Aisle/Middle/Window for classes W,S,E,T,L,K) Continental Europe (one price for Leg Space seat on exit row) Long haul flights (one price for Leg Space seat on exit row) Passengers seated in the exit rows must meet the following criteria (same as today).

The effected EMD document will automatically be re-associated. Voluntary refund of Chargeable Seats is possible according to the refund rules of the fare used on the ticket. However the refund is only possible in conjunction with the ticket. Refund is not possible in case of voluntary rebooking to another flight where the Chargeable seat characteristics cannot be fulfilled on the new flight. In case of voluntary upgrade to a higher compartment, the pre-paid seat can be refunded. Refund is also possible incase of involuntary changes such like aircraft/version change and LH is unable to seat passenger in a suitable alternative seat flight disruption and LH is unable to seat passenger in a suitable alternative seat
