2 The security structural design of network protocol widely accepted as being a high-quality abstraction for network device and client security functionality. Important work has been done to build up well-organized TECHNIQUES for network security, but most of the works have rigorous on SECURING protocol over congestion control. The base of work is on condition that safety measures when network is scattered and based on cloud network. FTP and TELNET is attractive safety measures in network for user verification and safe the complete tool when two or more nodes communicate. The design methodology is referred to as network security design depend on protocol. Protocol security allows us to make better secure of network and all network devices by FTP and TELNET security protocol.

3 This technique restricts unauthorized user or unnecessary action by third party. INTRODUCTION OF CISCO PACKET TRACER PACKET Tracer make available a way of reliability, network capable, and simulation based knowledge surroundings for networking novices to design, configure, and troubleshoots computer networks at a ccna level of t complexity. It hold up an array of simulation application layer protocol and support basic routing with RIF, OSPF, EIGRP .The main aim of PACKET tracer provide a realistic simulation of functional network. In the PACKET Tracer application utilizes number of features found with the actual hardware running on current Cisco version.

4 PACKET tracer is providing an integrated simulation, visualization, collaboration, and assessment environment. It supports the much of tasks like Creation of Simulations, Visualizations, and Animations of Networking Phenomena. It implemented on a simplified model of networking devices and protocols. It provides real computer networks, Experienced both in person/hands on and remotely. PACKET tracer is creating to help address the digital divide in networking education, where students and teachers access the equipment, bandwidth, and interactive modes of learning networking. It includes the following Feature. Supported Feature Description Protocols 1. LAN Ethernet, , PPPOE.

5 2. Switching: VLAN, trucking, VTP, DTP, STP, and RSTP. 3. TCP/IP : HTTPS , DHTPS , DHCPv6 , TELNET , SSH ,TFTP ,DNS ,UDP , ICMP ,ICMPv6 , FTP , SMTP,VOIP. 4. Routing: Static default, RIPv1, EIGRP single area and multi area OSPF, BGP, inter VLAN routing. 5. Security : IPSec ,GRE, ISAKMP , NTP ,AAA,RADIUS, TACACS ,SNMP , SSH,SYSLOG ,CBAC ,FIREWALL ,IPS . 6. Menu Bar This bar has following option. File, Edit, Option, View, Tools, Extensions and Basic Command Like Open, Save, Save as, Pkz and Preferences. 2. Main Tool Bar This bar provides following shortcut icons of the File and Edit Menu command and buttons for Copy, Paste, Undo, and Redo, Zoom the Drawing. 3. Common Tools Bar This bar provides commonly used tools like Select, Move, Layout Place Note, Delete, Inspect, Resize Shape.

8 4. Logical/Physical Workspace and Navigation Bar We can toggle between both workspaces with the tabs on this bar. The logical workspace allow go back to a previous level in a cluster, create new cluster, Move Object, Set tiled Background. Physical workspace allow to navigate through physical location , Create a new city , Create a new building , Create a new closet , Move object . 5. Workspace The workspace allows creating our network, watching simulation and view information and statistic. Real time / Simulation Bar This bar provide buttons to power cycle device and fast forward time and play control button and event list button in simulation mode.

9 7. Network Component Box This box, we choose device and connection to put in to the workspace. It has device type selection box and device specific selection box. 8. Device-Type Selection Box It has types of devices and connection. 9. Device-Specific Selection Box This box, we choose specifically device, We want to put in our network and connection make. 10. User Created PACKET Window It manage PACKET we put in the network during simulation. (Table 2: PACKET tracer interface overview) 4. OPERATING MODES PACKET Tracer has two operating modes for reflect the network. 1. Real Time Mode The real time mode provide real time environment of the network with the limits of protocol use. This Network is responsible to action immediate run in real device. 2. Simulation Mode To simulation mode is a like congeal time.

10 We have direct control over time flow of pdu s. We can see the network run step by step or event by event quick or fast. 5. CONNECTIONS PACKET tracer supports a very wide range of connection. ever cable type connected to certain interface types.
