May 6, 2016 To: SUD Provider Network From: BPA Health Provide Network Management RE: University of Cincinnati Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions for Substance abuse Training BPA Health is coordinating with the Idaho Department of Corrections and the University of Cincinnati to offer a three-day training on the Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions for Substance abuse (CBI-SA). The trainers from the University of Cincinnati will be conducting training in each region around the state. Facilities wishing to participate are encouraged to send at least 2 individuals to the training. In order to obtain certification, participants are required to attend the full three days and will not be able to leave early. Each training is limited to 27 participants.

2 Based on capacity, there may be a limit of attendees per agency and preference will be given to provider agencies currently serving IDOC clients. If you are willing to travel to another region for training, please indicate on the attached registration form. If needed, a wait list will be created and BPA Health will notify those participants when the next training is scheduled. Providers who are interested must submit the attached form by May 20, 2016 to Please be prepared to bring registration confirmation on the day of the training. Only attendees whose registration has been approved will be allowed to participate in the training.
