Afterschool Tutorial: This week Afterschool Tutorial will be cancelled. It will resume on Monday, December 1, 2014. Fire Drill Dismissal: On Wednesday, november 26, 2014, students will be dismissed at 1:45 All afterschool activities and practices will be cancelled until Monday, December 1, 2014. Academic Intervention Meeting: On Tuesday, november 25, 2014 students that have earned two or more failing grades will be required to attend a very important Academic Intervention meeting 6th hour in the Cafeteria. Students will receive Academic Contracts that will require a parent signature.

2 Absent Excuses/Make-up work: Parents, be reminded that all students are required to have an absence excuse in order to receive any make-up work. All absence excuses must be verified and processed by the Counseling center. Grade Level Cross Curriculum Project: Teachers will begin sharing with students the details and rubrics of the Cross Curriculum Projects. The points for these projects will be factored into the overall 35% of your grade. Reminder: Common Grading Scale: All teachers are on a common grading scale this SCHOOL year. Please refer to the CMA high website or the course syllabus for more details. Dismissal Precautions and Safety Tips: Students must remain in front of the St. Marys exit door while waiting on their ride.

3 This is the only way we can keep an eye on the students. Please instruct your child not to go to the party store on St. Marys and Fenkell and Grand River and St. Marys. Cold Weather Dress Code: Parents and students please be mindful of the change in season. Students should begin wearing layers. All shirts must be solid color Black, White, and Purple. No outer jackets or fleece will be allowed. Replacement Bus Cards: Students that lose their Bus Card will not receive a replacement card until second semester. Parents can purchase Bus Cards through detroit Department of Transportation. Locker Safety: All students are required to have a combination lock on their lockers. The SCHOOL is not responsible for items left in an unsecured locker.
