V A C serv ice V FS Glo bal Serv ices makes available V isa A pplication Centres (VAC) in Nigeria in o rder to pro vide a serv ice designed to suppo rt better service to RESIDENTS o f tho se c ountries and permanent RESIDENTS o f Canada. V FS Glo bal Serv ic es is a Co ntrac tor perfo rming a number o f func tions o n behalf o f applic ants related to temporary resident visa and permit applications, and applications fo r travel do cuments. V FS Glo bal Serv ic es c harges fo r its services hav e been autho rised by the Go v ernment o f Canada.

2 2. Liability V FS Glo bal Serv ices is no t an agent o f the Go v ernment o f Canada. V FS Glo bal Serv ices is a c o mpletely independent entity, o perating under the laws o f the c o untry where the services are provided and is so lely respo nsible fo r the provision o f its serv ic es. 3. Language o f serv ice V FS Glo bal Serv ices shall provide the service and the website in English and Frenc h as required by Canada, and predo minant lo cal languages. 4. A greement A s a user o f V FS Glo bal Serv ic es I understand and agree that: I hav e read this do c ument c o mpletely. My use o f the services o f VFS Glo bal Serv ic es is to assist me with submitting my temporary resident visa o r permit application, o r applicatio n fo r travel do cuments to the Go v ernment o f Canada, and is o n the TERMS and c o nditions no ted in this do c ument.

3 The V FS Glo bal Serv ic es will receive do cuments fro m me and c o llect perso nal info rmation fro m me fo r use in apply ing to the Go v ernment o f Canada fo r a Canadian v isa, permit o r travel do cument. On my Go v ernment o f Canada applic atio n fo rm there is a no tic e that describes the purpose fo r the c ollec tion o f this perso nal info rmation. A lternatively, if indic ated below, I giv e my c onsent to V FS Glo bal Services indirectly c ollecting my do c uments and personal info rmation fro m the person specified below. 2 Pa r tn ering Gov ernments. Pr ov iding Solutions. My perso nal info rmation may include my applic ation fo rm, supporting o r o ther do cuments as required by the Embassy o f Canada o r the Co nsulate General o f Canada.

4 My perso nal info rmation c ollected by V FS Glo bal Serv ic es may also inc lude my liv e photograph and my fingerprints, if this info rmatio n is c o llected in suppo rt o f my applicatio n. My personal info rmation may also inc lude info rmation required by VFS Glo bal Serv ic es fo r its rec ords that may inc lude limited applicatio n, identity, biographic and c o ntact info rmatio n necessary to provide the service and may, in so me instances, inc lude elec tronic records o r data related to my application(s) o r o ther do cuments that I provide. In o rder to o btain the authorisation o f the Go v ernment o f Canada as a c o ntractor, V FS Glo bal Serv ices has pro mised to respect principles o f perso nal info rmation c o nfidentiality and pro tectio n adopted by v arious laws o f Canada.

5 Offic es o f V FS Glo bal Serv ices will make a c o py o f suc h principles av ailable upon request. These do c uments and electro nic info rmatio n may be transmitted by the V FS Glo bal Serv ices amo ng its V A C o ffic es, if autho rised by Canada. These doc uments and electronic info rmation will be transmitted to the Embassy o f Canada and the Go v ernment o f Canada o ffic es in Canada, as required to provide the serv ice. I understand that V FS Glo bal Serv ices will o nly c ollect, use, disc lo se and retain my personal info rmation as required in its c o ntract with the Go v ernment o f Canada and fo r the purpo ses o f pro viding my visa, permit o r travel do cument application support services and bio metric c ollection services, where applic able.

6 The Go v ernment o f Canada has pro hibited V FS Glo bal Services fro m using o r disclosing my perso nal info rmation fo r any o ther purpose unless I hav e provided a further c onsent in writing.
