Effective October 27, 2021, residents of congregate elderly person housing sites (e.g., assisted living) are recommended to receive a booster dose of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine six months after their last COVID-19 vaccine. (Note that the interval for residents with moderate to severe immune compromise is ≥ 28 days after the second dose).
