1 Nordstrom RACK CANDADA APRIL 2017 NPG Supplier Procedures manual - Current Communications Confidential Page 1 of 1 Dear Nordstrom Supplier : Nordstrom recently announced plans to expand our Canada presence by opening Rack stores. Our first Rack store is slated to open in Toronto, Ontario in March, 2018 followed by two more in a short time after. At this time, we have plans to open 6 Canada Rack stores by the end of 2018. The planned Rack stores will be in addition to the 6 Nordstrom Full line stores that will be operational by the end of 2017. With these store openings we d like to inform you on timelines and details around shipping and packaging.
2 Rack Canada Timelines: May - July, 2017 NPG will start to share information around Canada Rack assortment March, 2018 First Canada Rack Grand Opening, Toronto April, 2018 Second Canada Rack Store Opening, Calgary May, 2018 Third Canada Rack Store Opening, Toronto Rack Canada Shipping Specifics: If you have not shipped product to our Canada stores before, please familiarize yourself with the NPG Canada Supplier manual which provides Canada specific requirements. Some of the biggest differences for our Canada operations include the following: All Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack Canada orders are required to be store packed. Nordstrom will continue to use our 3rd party logistics provider National Logistics Services (NLS) for all Canada product including new Rack Stores.
3 Their DC numeric designation is #868. Canadian regulatory requirements differ from the US in labeling, testing of textiles and restricted banned substances. Existing Canada Supplier Resources: We will communicate any additional Canada Supplier Process updates specific to Rack as they become available. As a reminder, the NPG Canada Supplier manual is intended to be used in conjunction with existing NPG requirements located on Nordstrom Supplier site.
