2 Removalofmicrobes,dirt, ,butbyremovingthem, removemicrobes,butby killingmicrobesonasurfaceaftercleaning, ,San LazaroCompound,RizalAvenue, ,1003 Manila (equivalentto5000ppm)usingaratioof1:10)s hallbe usedfordisinfectingsurfacesincludingsoil edclothes,toilets,bodyfluidspilledonthef loors,vehicles,roads,disposedPPEsand similarhealthcarewastes, ( ,soapandwater)arenotavailable, (equivalentto500ppm)usingaratioof1:100)m aybe ,itmustbe ,phenolsandhydrogenperoxideshallbe usedaccordingtomanufacturer' Allindividualsdealingwiththe disinfectionprocessshallwearappropriatep ersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE). (1:10solution)for surfacedisinfection(RefertoAnnexA) activechlorine,dilute|partofbleachto9par tsofcleanwater; ,dissolve1tablespoonofchlorine(equivalen tto10grams) (1:100solution)(RefertoAnnexB) ( ), ,add100mLofsolution(7tablespoons)to| ,suchasthe COVID-19virus, ,suchasreusablededicatedequipment(forexa mple,thermometers); (strongbleachsolution) (equivalentto5000ppm)fordisinfectingsurf aces(RefertoAnnexA).

3 Wipesurfacesdirectly,sprayingofcleaningo rdisinfectantsolutiondirectlyon asurfacecanbe donewithcaution,andonlywhenthereisnoothe roptionofapplyingthesame,sincethe disinfectantmayalso routinecleaningwhereonebucketcontainsade tergentorcleaningsolutionand the cleaningsolution,onecontainsrinsewateran donewith the ( ,tables, ,lightswitches,doorknobs,andcabinethandl es) , sinstructionsforallcleaningand safe and effectiveuseofthecleaningproductincludin gdilutioninformationandprecautionsthat shouldbetakenwhenapplyingtheproduct, the surfaceusingclothorpaperroll, ,sprayingofcleaningordisinfectantsolutio ndirectlyon asurfacecanbe donewithcaution,andonlywhenthereisnoothe roptionofapplyingthesame, bedpanswithcare, ,afterdisposingofthefeces,thebedpanshoul dbe cleanedwitharegularhouseholddetergentand water,thendisinfectedwithastrong( )chlorinesolution( ),then rinsewith (morefrequentlyifhouseholdmembersareregu larlygoinginandoutofthehouse).

4 Soft(porous)surfacessuchas carpetedfloor,rugs,anddrapes,removevisib lecontaminationifpresentand cleanwithappropriatecleanersindicatedfor use manufacturer ,launderitemsusingthewarmestappropriatew atersettingfortheitemsanddryitemscomplet ely, manufacturer :Weardisposableorimpermeableglovesandgow nsforalltasksinthecleaningprocess, (PPE)mightberequiredbasedonthecleaning/d isinfectantproductsbeingused removedcarefullytoavoidcontaminationofth ewearerand ,washhandsoftenwithsoapandwaterforatleas t20 ,analcohol-basedhandsanitizerthat containsatleast70%alcoholmaybe ,ifhandsare visiblydirty,alwayswashhandswithsoapandw aterFor hardsurfaces,first cleanthen frequentlytouchedsurfacesinclude:tables, doorknobs,lightswitches,countertops,hand les,desks,phones,keyboards,toilets,fauce ts,sinks, doneusinghouseholdcleanersanddisinfectan ts,dilutedhouseholdbleachsolutionsoralco holsolutionswithatleast70%alcohol asappropriateforthe ,directlymoppingor ,sprayingofcleaningordisinfectantsolutio nonasurfacecanalso beappliedwithcaution,andonlywhennoothero ptionisavailable,asincommunityisolationu nitsand sinstructionstoensuresafe and | (suchascarpetedfloor,rugs,anddrapes) (ifpossible)accordingtothemanufacturer.

5 ORDisinfectwithan electronics(suchastablets,touchscreens,k eyboards,remotecontrols,andATMmachines) ,usealcohol-basedwipesorsolutionscontain ingatleast70% isnecessarytocleanthe (consistentwithhealthfacilitysanitarywor kers)and donottouchface ,accordingtothemanufacturer (calciumhypochlorite),mixten(10) tablespoonsoftwenty(20) wellfor10secondsoruntilthe ,itmaybesprayed,withcaution,onsurfacesli kewalls,doors,windows,glass,floor,etc.(a voidelectronics) (infectiouswastebin).Washhandswithsoapan dwaterand takeashower, ,pavements,benchesandothersurfacesintheo penarea duringtheenhancedcommunityquarantineisre commendedprovidedthatthe directexposureofthepublictothecleaningan d usingapump-actiondispenserasdeemednecess ary,withthenecessaryprecautions,shallbe followedtoprotectalsothe DiseaseControl(CDC)reportedthe lackofmicrobicidalefficacyin theuseofdisinfectantsbut also ,commonlyusedchemicaldisinfectantssuchas hypochloriteareirritanttotheskinandthemu cousmembrane(eyes,nose,andthroat).

6 Itmayalso haveadversehealtheffectswheninhaledinane nclosedenvironment; surfacedisinfectantsintendedtoeliminatet hehumancoronaviruswouldhavethesameeffica cywhenappliedinthe ,theuseofdisinfectiontents,mistingchambe rs,orsanitationboothsfor ,activitiesconductedbyLGUsandagenciespri ortothe releaseofthis issuanceshallnotbe materialsandstaffinitiallyindicatedfor theseactivitiestoeffortsconsistentwithDO Hguidelinessuchasforuseofchemicalsfor surfacedisinfection,useofboothsfortempor aryisolationortriageareas,orreallocation of staff ,characterizedashavingnoexternalskinexpo sure,maybesubjectedtomistingorsprayingbe foredoffingtheirfullPPEswithcarefulconsi derationoftheeyes,nose, (liquidorpowder)inair-tightnon-metallicc ontainers,awayfromheat, ,acid,fuel,detergents,organicorinflammab lematerials( ,paperorcigarettes).
